Thank you for stopping by to learn a little more about me and my photography style.
I currently live near Lake Norman with my husband, our two daughters and our newest addition Jack (boxer puppy). Photographing my oldest daughter as a newborn is what sparked my passion for photography. Those first few days are so fleeting and the images I have remind me of all her little bits and pieces that grew up way too fast.
I started my photography business in 2015 specializing in newborn photography. One thing that sets me apart from other photographers in the area is my rustic style. I love incorporating earth tones, wooden props, lace and burlap into my work. But aside from the props and setups I design, I also make it a point to keep them minimal to not take away from your baby and how perfect they are.
I graduated from Belmont Abbey College in 2007 with a major in Business Management and a minor in Accounting. Education is very important to me and I have spent the last four years taking continuing education classes from some of the top photographers in the world with topics ranging from newborn safety, editing, lighting, and posing techniques. This has and will remain a priority to me to ensure I am providing value to the services I offer.
In addition to my education and experience, I have had the honor of one of my images winning the International Baby Photography Contest and I’m a member of Clickpro, industry leading group of highly skilled photographers.
I am so glad you took the time to learn a little about me and I look forward to hearing from you!
P.S. I should warn you I am a talker and I love to get to know my clients to understand exactly what they want in their session ;)
